What is your current Roleplaying Name: Rick Sanchez
Steam Name and id?:
Rick Sanzhez | STEAM_0:0:92590782
Age?:
21
Do You Have A Microphone?: Yes
Have you had any bans/kicks/warns from our server. If yes what for?
: None at all. I have made an effort to both behave in, and interact with the community.
What is your total playing time on our server?: About 25 hours.
Why should we make you staff on our server?
: I am an experienced, mature, and level headed person. I believe that these are important qualities that every player, let alone staff, should possess.
I am able to take a non-biased judgement on all situations, and look at confrontations with an open point of view and the willingness to listen to all input fairly.
Also, although my play time on the server is next to nothing, I immediately fell in love with the staff and the community (figuratively, not literally). I believe that I would fit in well, and get on with fellow staff members and all players who play on the server.
I also believe that I have much to contribute in the way of support for both admins and players alike, not to mention love to mingle with the community and join players with their activities and avoid sitting on the bench in most situations, and get a hands on point of view to put myself in their situation.
Servers these days have very little staff attentive and staff members that want to help from a non-biased point of view, and coming to this server, I saw that the staff members have exactly this outlook on every situation, and treat every event anew, and avoid discrimination when dealing with non-compilers of the server rules.
What experience have you had as a staff member in a darkrp server?
: A Mod on a server no longer operable a while back, and a Moderator position on a couple of Rust servers from a while ago.
How Regularly can you come on the server?
: After work, all spare time.
Describe what staff abuse is:
Swearing, using offensive language, and yelling at staff.
Do you understand that if you are caught staff abusing you will be punished severely?
: Yes, yes I do.
General Knowledge
A person is threatening to crash the server, what do you do?:
Kick him with a warning. If he comes back and issues a threat again, use a ban as appropriate.
If a person is requesting to talk to a higher member of staff, what do you do?
: Ask the higher member staff if he is available, and take action accordingly.
What do you do if a player consistently refuses to stay in a sit?
: Warn him for noncompliance, kick if warn is not heeded. If he joins back and repeats his actions, a ban.
What do you do if a player insults you?
: Warn the player. If it continues, kick.
What do you do if a player goes afk in a sit?
: Kick the player with a warning that advises him not to afk in sits (as his afk may be legitimate).
If you do not have evidence of a rule being broken what do you do?
: Investigate. Question all witnesses, players involved. If no hard evidence is found then, warn the players involved, and take further action the next time said players are involved in another incident.
Define and explain each of the following
RDM:
Random Death Match (unjust or random killing of players)
RDA:
Random Arrest (arresting a player for no reason, or baton rushing a player)
NLR:
New Life Rule (returning to the point of death within the cooldown period that you must wait after death | referencing actions in your previous lives)
Metagaming:
Breaking the 4th wall within context, using your job to make up non-existing roles or rules, making a fake job from an already existing one, failing to fail rules and justifying them with irrational excuses.
SelfSupplying:
Supplying yourself with weapons/drugs/ammo/items as a job, and using it to your advantage without using them to do your job. Also, doing this and swapping jobs to have all the benefits of the self supply.
Thanks for taking the time to read this fellas, see you in game.
P.s. I am aware that this application is very 'barebones', as a member of the community kindly pointed out. However, this is the sort of person I am, and I believe that a calm and collective attitude would be a valuable asset for the server's staff team.
All advice is welcome, and I encourage all to contribute to help me on my path to successfully become a Staff Member!
